So I played MW3 today

    After getting fed up with the lag in BO2 I decided to try MW3 for a change...

    Holy shit!!! This game makes BO2 seem like a masterpiece lol. I mean good God, what were they thinking with this piece of shit? Seriously, I think they purposely tried to make this game bad.

    The worst part is the fact that the hit detection and lag really aren't that bad in this game. At first it felt nice to actually have my shots register when I shot a guy... but the amount of bullshit IW knowingly put into this game make you forget about the decent hit detection in a heart beat. At least in BO2 you can blame the lag, in this game you have to blame IW because most of the bullshit was actually intended to be bullshit.

    You almost just have to laugh at all the shit that is wrong with this game lol. I tried taking it seriously for the first hour and I only got 3 MOABs which does not make up for how tremendously PISSED OFF i was lol. It brings back memories of all the rage... not necessarily good memories.

    The moral of the story is: If you think BO2 sucks, just play MW3 for an hour and you will realize that BO2 isn't actually that bad.

    What I hated most about mw3 was the graphics/colors every map seems bland. The maps themselves I liked I just wish the colors were brighter, more depth and more colors overall

    I've actually thought about playing again lately just to see if it was as bad as I remember. Thanks for saving me some time!

    No, I'd rather have lag and shit detection than:

    Dead mans hand
    Final stand
    Undeserved: stealth bombers, EMPs, unlimited UAVs, ballistic vests, recon drones, invincible noob suits (juggernauts)
    Terribly underpowered assault killstreaks
    Dying from viewkick head shots every other death
    Guns that are ACTUALLY OVERPOWERED- the striker, USAS, FMGs, T95, MK14 put the FAL full auto, Remington and KAP 40s to shame, not to mention that the MP7 and ARC are both miles better than the AN94 and PDW
    Horrific spawns... much, much worse than the ones in BO2
    Even more unbalananced teams with no incentive whatsoever for randys to play the OBJ.
    Getting put back into the same game 7 times in a row (this actually happened to me today... **** my W/L)
    Even more overpowered snipers
    terrible maps
    ...and I'm sure there is plenty more that I'm forgetting.

    If not for all the bullshit listed above I would have had 7 MOABs in my hour of playing. I died 1 off a double MOAB to some NOOB in final stand who got a head shot... he was clearly aiming for my head (this is sarcasm). The other 3 20+ streaks were ended short due to: striker, quickscope, view kick head-shot 2x.

    So a broken and non-functional game over one you haven't found your stride on yet.

    Dead Man's Hand is trash and should not be in the game. That's a fact. Final Stand (and Last Stand/ Second Chance) should not be the form they are now. That's a fact.

    But when the game coughs or you have a good connection and get insta-killed by the fabled lag compensation in BO2, stealing a kill from you, ruining a streak, or handing you a free death, isn't that like a deathstreak itself?

    Support could have been handled better, but at this point, the only real problem is the Stealth Bomber, which has no real counter. But really? You think the scorestreak system is OK when a person can simply loop killstreak chains and hardly doing any work? A person can get another Swarm in BO2 after getting a first one.

    Let them have it. The Support one is easy to kill and the Assault one is 15 points (and if you're referring to this, you're contradicting your next point).

    This is fine, but who cares when you can go Specialist? Or try the mid-range stuff like missiles or the Reaper.

    This is, like, evey CoD. Use Focus.

    Here we go. Somebody screaming overpowered and then listing seven weapons.

    Totally disagree. They are equally terrible.

    You need to specify what you mean by unbalanced (different things it could mean in MW3), but c'mon. You get a point for capping a flag in Domination. You can farm the shit out of everything with Hardline. How BO2 has the scorestreak system designed, it forces you to do stuff to get killstreaks. It's not an incentive to play and win.

    Why you think eveyone plays Kill Confirmed now? Because it rewards objective based play? No, "You barely get any score in TDM." All people care about is killstreaks.

    Wait 20 seconds before searching for a game again. Works wonders.

    God, no.

    Like BO and BO2.

    This takes the cake. Undercase's response is fitting.

    I started to play BO2 just because I hardly get any server in fourdeltaone (I've been banned from the repz servers). But the only thing what I really enjoy in BO2 is the pick-10 system.

    And I love when somebody sream overpowered weapons without reasoning it (Striker is my favorite. In MW2 they consider it as a shit weapon now it's overpowered :facepalm:)

    Also call me crazy but because of the maps in BO2 is even more clusterf*ck than in MW3 I feel the spawn worse too.

    Your not on your own KillerKING. All the bull shit (e.g. Matrypoo and Dead Mans hand) they intended to put in the game to cater to noobs A LONG WITH lag, glitches and technical issues makes it simply the worst COD to date. Period.

    Yes BO2 has lag every now and then but this is something that cannot be fixed COMPLETELY by the developers alone. I don't know what the IW developers was thinking by adding deathstreaks (sounds absolutely hilarious now... I mean really!! Rewarding people for DEATHSTREAKS lol) but hopefully they don't make the same mistake for MW4. I prefer going back to BO1, MW2 and COD4.

    No, not at all. 3arc did not intentionally steal your kill. At least they have attempted to fix this problem. Do you remember launch week? The connection is miles better today. IW on the other hand purposely put bullshit in the game to give people unfair kills. Pathetic.

    You don't understand what a viewkick head shot is. Veiwkick head shots happen when you get the jump on a guy (and win the gunfight), but the flinch on his screen pulls his aim up to your head so that as soon as he starts shooting he gets a head shot. Thus, you lose the gunfight because you got the jump on the other guy and he was rewarded with a headshot for aiming at your chest. Using focus makes absolutely no difference with regards to viewkick headshots.

    And yes, you are right that viewkick headshots are in every COD, however from experience I can say that I die from them at least 5 times more often in MW3 than in any other COD. I barely get viewkick headshotted in BO2. Most of the time when you die from headshots in BO2, they are just lucky headshots, not veiwkick head shots.

    Also, my comment about the supposedely "overpowered" weapons was simply for comparison of the two games. I think it is funny that people are complaining about all the supposedly "overpowered" weapons in BO2, when the supposedly "overpowered" guns in MW3 were much, much better than the ones in BO2. Kinda ironic.

    I'm sorry but BO2 has a lot more lag then "every now and then". (At least for those of us with pings above 20ms). I love BO2 but the inconsistent laggy gameplay and poor hit detection can be very frustrating. For me, MW3 played and stills plays smoothly with very little lag and with good hit detection. In my opinion, online gameplay quality trumps things like deadmans hand, final stand, support streaks etc...
    To me MW3 was a good game with some flaws as mentioned above. BO2 is an improvement in many ways over MW3 but it is a step backwards in regards to laggy gameplay. (Once again for those of us with pings above 20ms who at times experience being behind by close to a 1/2 sec. in gun fights) In a perfect world I would take BO2s game with MW3s online gameplay. I like both games but they both have issues.

    i like MW3 like playing Drop Zone. now can go play and not care about KDR and have real fun.

    The ONLY thing I like about MW3 is the Infection game mode. That and a few of the weapons.
