A man was standing on an active airport runway and was killed by a jet plane landing. WHY was he on the runway when airports are supposed to be "secure"? Who knows? In any event, workers at the airport later found his body in what I assume was a pretty mangled state. The outcome is pretty surprising, really. I mean if a 200 pound man is standing still and takes on a 100,000 pound plane landing at 100 mph or so, one would think it would be a pretty evenly matched fight - eh, maybe not.

As a psa, look both ways before you cross a street, and don't walk on airport runways.

"A Southwest Airlines jet struck and killed a person after landing at an airport in Austin, Texas on Thursday night, authorities said.

According to preliminary information released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Southwest Airlines Flight 1392 reported seeing a person on the runway, shortly after the Boeing 737 touched down at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport around 8:12 p.m.

Officials don't believe the unidentified man was authorized to be on the runway at the time, airport spokesman Bryce Dubee said. The FAA said the driver of an airport operations vehicle later found the victim's body on the runway."

Two brothers were told to leave a Target because they weren't wearing face masks, one of them *broke an employee's arm* and punched him to the ground. They are now both arrested on felony battery charges. I wonder if it was worth it for them. I know it was NOT worth it for the employee with the broken arm.

And yet, I bet those 2 had no problem following the “no shirt - no shoes - no service” rule.

    The truth is out there

Another group of murderers in Afghanistan. This time they killed people in a hospital.

    "
Gunmen attempted to siege a hospital in Kabul Tuesday morning where Doctors Without Borders runs a maternity clinic, killing at least 13 people, including two newborn babies, according to reports.

At least 15 others were wounded in the attack at the Dasht-e-Barchi hospital located in a mostly Shiite Muslim neighborhood in Afghanistan’s capital. At least three armed men dressed in police uniforms stormed the building and began throwing grenades and shooting, The Guardian reported.

Neither the Taliban nor the Islamic State (IS) immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. It remained unclear why the hospital was targetted.

Well, it looks like there'll be another season of Sister Wives after all.

    "
(CNN)A law effectively decriminalizing bigamy, when two people marry while at least one of them is already legally married, is now in effect in Utah.

For decades, bigamy was a third-degree felony, legally punishable by up to five years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine. The new law makes it an infraction, putting the offense on par with getting a traffic ticket.
The bill was signed into law by Gov. Gary Herbert in March and took effect on Tuesday.
Polygamy has been practiced in Utah by certain religious groups since before it became a state and continues to persist to this day.
Though the practice has long been illegal under state and federal law, the Utah attorney general's office has declined to prosecute the offense, except when it's committed along with other crimes.
The new law makes the attorney general's policy official. Supporters of the law say that reducing the penalty for bigamy removes barriers that previously prevented potential abuse victims from coming forward for fear of prosecution."

In all the hubbub going on with the politics of the FBI, let's not forget that every day the rank and file of the FBI are stopping people like this criminal who planned to start murdering people. He was stopped *before* there were a string of dead bodies and broken families. Good job, FBI!

""He made statements about tactical options for killing multiple targets and the disposal of their bodies. He reaffirmed his plan to ambush law enforcement, kill them, rob them of their weapons, and start an uprising," federal authorities said in a complaint filed on Tuesday."

Here's something outrageous. Two professional football players went to a party and *robbed* the other party guests at gunpoint! Guys... you're *professional athletes*! You have a job and an income that millions of young men probably dream about, and you throw it away for what? A few thousand dollars worth of cr@p? WHY???

"According to police, the two men were partying in Miramar when an argument broke out and Baker took out a semi-automatic firearm. Police also said that the men began to steal watches and other valuables from party guests, and Baker reportedly told a third man -- who was wearing a red mask -- to shoot at someone who had just arrived at the party."

Some inspiring news. Two girls are still alive thanks to the brave action of two men who endangered themselves to save them from a rip tide. What really gets me is that they weren't even on the beach, but were driving by and heard the commotion and screaming from the beach.

They then cared for the girls on the shoreline until EMS arrived.

    True heroes!

What gets me is how committed these politicians are. With China being the way it is, these officials are probably risking their lives by opposing the Will of the Party so actively, yet they do it anyway. I'm proud of them, what they're doing takes a lot of resolution.
