Should we create a plenty of fish profile for season 2 so it hopefully won't be so lonely while season 1 is getting all the pretty girls phone numbers?

 

Season 2 is the eternal wingman.

I think the original plan to go to the desert was a sensible temporary safety zone back when they didn't know they were looking at the end of society. But, without an infrastructure, without water, it would be idiotic to want to set up a home base in a desert, unless they go all the way to the Colorado River border (where they would eventually be flanked by herds). Who wants to deal with temps over 100 AND zombies who are not phased by heat. I think NO to the desert.

They already know heading for a military base will do them no good. I think they will pretty much stay put, thinking their neighborhood outside the fence has already been largely cleared. When they give up on that, I dunno.

 

I'm actually excited for this show - no comics means no major spoilers, and I hope it won't be so "cartoonish" as TWD
