Could be a song you actually love, or one that you didn't care for but was popular during your adolescence.

For me that would be the late 90s and early 00s, not exactly a great era of music. It was the prime of pop princesses and boy bands. Seems like there was also an R&B revival.

The age of TRL was totally my adolesence:

I can't find the real video on youtube, but my friends and I all cut our jeans on the top after this song came out. Jen7 you're around my age, aren't you? Do you remember that trend with the jeans?

Uh, duh...NKOTB!! (; acronym for New Kids on the Block for all the old timers who's never heard of one of the greatest boy bands of all time ;)

I fell in love with them around 1988 (I was a gregarious but still shy at times tomboy at only 8 yrs old) when they first busted onto our tv screen. I use to watch them sing and dance up on stage during any of their tv performances or concert specials for MTV with mesmerizing wide eyes and wished I was there in the audience. When I saw Joey McIntyre had the lead and sang "Please Don't Go Girl" on some live awards show performance for the first time, oh my gawd my lil 10 year old heart at the time. I guess you all could say he was the first 'whiteboy' I ever crushed on lol. I tried to collect anything from their posters, to buttons, to stickers, trading cards, books, magazine clippings, tshirts, yup, I was a "Blockhead" as what fanatics were coined as back then lol.

And then in 1991 I got my first album from them as a bday gift and it was on cassette too! I was the happiest 11 year old jumping up and down like I has ants in my pants as I opened my gift bag. I listened to it till the tape player ate up the stringimathingy and it was beyond repairable. Lol I was so mad and devastated I implored my mom to give me 10 bucks so I could go buy me a new cassette of their album, and that I would do the dishes for a month. It worked lol. And then in late 1992 we moved to a new house and neighborhood and I lost my beloved cassette :(

Well, in today's modern technologies you can find and download literally any songs through the Internet and on your mobile device so I have some my favorite hits from them in my music collection where I can still replay and visit memory lane anytime to my heart's content! =P

How did I forget nkotb? I was 8 when they got big in the 80's...I even saw them in concert. Joey was my favorite. Then when I was 28 and they went on tour again some girlfriends and I went to see them again...20 years later lol. So much fun.

I was only about 3 or 4 when this video came out, but my mom still watched MTV I guess since I remember seeing this and when Prince performed with ass less pants.

Queen's We Are the Champions is used at all the high school games now, but I remember when it was new. I have to laugh when my kids would ask if I'd ever heard it before.

Awww! The 8 year old in me is melting all over again.

Do you remember that song where they all talk at the beginning, and joey's like "I might be young, but I'm not too young to let you know how I feel. I'm Joey, and I'm a Capricorn..." Lolllll!
