Dude, I think you missed the point she and @Jen7 were trying to make. But whatever.

Whether he is believably gay, unbelievably gay, believably straight, unbelievably straight or whatever: it doesn't really matter. Especially not in this case.

Strand is a master manipulator. Because all of his relationships seem to be built on obligations instead of love, kindness and a sense of charity, he may be a sociopath.

This is why I believe he's manipulating Thomas (thus making his romance with Thomas a farce). Just like he manipulated Nick and Doug (the weepy guy from his cell???). It seems like the only people he can't manipulate are Madison and Daniel...two people who are probably going to become his archenemies.

My brother and his friend have this running joke, where when they go to the bar together and the server or bartender asks what they want, his friend will say "I'll have a beer..." (or whatever drink he orders) and before my brother can order he'll say, "...and an appletini for the Mrs." and my brother will end up with an appletini, which he takes like a shot. I was there to witness it once.
