Greg Nicotero is really bringing it this season, all the different walkers we're seeing look amazing.

 

Yup. I caught that, he's actually using the chain from the pocket watch to bust off a loose and jagged splinter off wood. Now we know where Michonne's and Abe's spikes come from.

 

Is that what that is? I couldn't tell. It looked like a zipper to me. Thanks.

 

It's the chain to Hershel's pocket watch that he's using. If you remember, they didn't get everything off them when they locked them up. Just the weapons they knew about, and had them drop, from the frisking in the radio room.

 

Rick looks at peace in the first picture; I have a feeling that's the moment when they first really break free in the chaos; they're still in Terminus, but they're unbound, armed, on their feet and free of their captors. Looks kind of like he's gazing up and embracing that freedom for a split second before killing score of the living and the dead. Looks like Daryl's bent over cocking his crossbow next to him.

 

Reminds me of when she killed those walkers in Woodbury before the walker fights with Merle and Martinez.
