Someone tells you they chained in 1000s of people, infected and alive.

Wouldn't you want to make sure it was true, so you would know for sure?

 

It makes sense if the arena is on the way to the hospital.

For that matter, maybe the arena is on the same campus as the hospital.

 

I hope he doesn't plan on letting them out.

Would he let them out though? I know hes biased against the military and would use the walkers against them, but at the same time he would endanger himself and his daughter along with Travis and his family.

 

Especially if I was told that the evacuation started in the morning. I wouldn't waste my time sight seeing.

 

The real arena isn't close to anything and is in a neighborhood I would consider a likely hotbed of ZA activity so I think that he was going to verify and not open - he's a rational man and knows he has a lot to do before the morning.

 

He doesn't like the military, but he's also not stupid. I don't think he'd put Ophelia at risk by doing something reckless.

 

As far as he knows, his wife is alive and at the hospital. In my mind he was on his way to the hospital to reconnoiter.

 

They must be pretty far apart. Adams said the arena was two miles away. Exner said the hospital was a 15 minute drive away.

 

Why would the military put a bunch of walkers in the arena but yet they kill innocent people on the street?

Yes...i think he went because if it were in fact true....That there was an area full of walkers and the doors were chained, it would be proof that the soldier was telling the truth. And if he was telling the truth about that then Colbalt must be the truth as well. So Daniel was going for confirmation. Not to let them out.

 

The military didn't put walkers in the arena. Folks were being relocated there but began to fall to infection and the military locked the doors because they couldn't sort thousands of people. Can you *imagine* that scene, all those people trying to escape but trapped as the balance tilted in the walkers' favor? How awful. I definitely don't think Daniel is crazy enough to open those doors, but I can't imagine that they'll stay shut, either.

 

I just assumed they were in there for some HipHop concert,1 died from the exposure to it and well,you know,like Dominoes falling in sequence death from HipHop!

Seems plausible to me.
