What was that business in the Q&A about Nalla having nightmares? What did I miss and where do I find it to catch up?

I was wondering the same thing too. Could it be in Father Mine? It was the only place Nalla was ever talked about. Was that released as Novella that I missed? Also, in the transcripts, Warden says that the twins may bond with one female. How do you like that? I say bring it on. More woman power! :)

Some more info about the book.
So that is what Throe licks as he masturbates, wrap your head around that one! It seem that Throe's semen is what is giving book life, which would eventually give Devina the power out of the Well of Souls.

The only other thing I can think of is that she wrote some Slices of Life and put them on her FB page like she used to do on The Cell. I don't know if they were archived though or how you would go about reading them. She should publish a novella with those stories in them so everyone could catch up.

Now let's see. Phury was attracted to Bella and it caused a lot of unhappiness if I remember. Now Z and Phury were twins like Ehric and Evale so maybe it's possible they would also be attracted to the same female. How they work it out would be key however. Mrs. Carvalho might not be too happy with such goings on in the house so it might have to be done on the down low....or they're gonna have to get a bigger house or build an addition! Then you got to get Markus mated and it's gonna be as busy there as it is over at the mansion. Oh well, more for Vovo to feed!

I actually am having trouble wrapping my head around all that creepy shit from the Angels series. Maybe I should go back and try to read them if only to get more information on Davina and who she works for....or if she's an independent agent, if you will.

The book is supposedly indestructible which is why "whoever" thought it should be kept in the Sanctuary....out of sight, out of mind. Of course V's thought process about it being taken by someone who has access to the Sanctuary, and that's a finite number, makes a hell of a lot of sense to me. Who is using one of the Chosen? We've no indication it's Throe since he's having a relationship with the book, lol. If he's getting his jizz all over it, that's gotta be one messy book! Are we getting ready for a Lash come back?

Oh I wanted to say that little insight that between the Minions and Throe's cum all over "the book" reminded me of that hysterical scene from This is The End where Franco accuses McBride of jizzing on his porno mag. lol

I did some research and found that Father Mine is a novella in the BDB insiders guide. Now I really have to catch up, as it has been such a long time. I agree that such an arrangement might actually prove to be a bit awkward around Mrs. Cavalho. Then again, at some point, she must learn that the people she is living with are different, so perhaps it may be accepted in the end. Actually, that is only an idea the Warden is playing around in her head, if it actually makes it into a book would be the response from the fans.

As I read this, I remember back then in an earlier book there was a Directrix who was a little bit on the darker side. Do you remember her? I remember Cormia thinking that the Directrix did not want the Primale in their world. Now whether she was referring to V or Phury I cannot remember. But could it have been her who removed the book from the Sanctuary?

Thanks for the opportunity to revisit V's book. The Directrix was indeed a bit on the dark side, as you say. She took a gun out of one of the cases in the vault and shot V, which is how he ended up at St. Francis.

Phury discovered what happened towards the end of the book when he was in the vault and noticed that one of the old guns had been fired recently. He recognized that the odd shape of the bullets matched the shape of the projectile he saw in V's X-ray when he was getting rid of the evidence of V ever having been in the hospital.

He ended up killing that Directrix so she would not have been the one to take this new book. One thing that was interesting is that the medallion that the Primale wore matched a similar one worn by the Directrix. Those medallions were actually keys to the vault, which was locked up after the raid of the Sanctuary, which we know little about. Phury questioned her closely to determine that only she, due to her position, and he as the Primale were the only two who could get into that vault.

Also in V's book, we have Cormia who nominated Amalya to be the new Directrix because she was, "warm and kind and of appropriate seniority." I imagine she was given the Directrix's medallion/key. Now she doesn't seem that she's of the same nature as the old one BUT she was left up in the sanctuary by herself, I think, while the rest of the Chosen opted to go down to Earth to explore their lives. Could she be lonely and vulnerable to someone using her? OR is she even alive? In this last book both Jane and V waited around for Amalya to make an appearance but she never showed up. The vault was also wide open which was unusual. Phury didn't seem to think just any one could get up to the Sanctuary but he seems to forget that it was raided once before. I wonder if someone or thing, got in there, killed Amayla who would have fought them, took the key and stole the one thing that would have more value than gem stones.

It seem that I too need to revisit earlier books in dept as I have forgotten so much. For instance I have forgotten it was the Directrix whom had shot Vishous and that Phury had killed her in the end. So it seems we have has come to full circle. That Directrix certainly did not end up in the fades, I would say she is also in the Well of Souls along with the rest of sinners and the likes of Devina. Who is to say she is not helping Devina attain her goal, for all we know she might be playing be the chief minion, the shadow that is directing Throe.

The thing with Amalya, though she did not appear when V and Jane were in the Santuary, did not someone say she was upset by the whole situation? Maybe she did have something to do with it but I am not sure if she is dead.

Ok more research and I will be back.

My daughter loaded The Thief on my iPad for Mother's Day so I was able to review things. You're right. When Phury and V were talking about the sitch at Phury's great camp, he said he had talked with Amalya and she was upset about unauthorized person(s) gaining access to the Sanctuary. She's alive but it seems to me that they have a bit of a security problem that needs to be addressed, providing it turns out that none of the Chosen were involved.

RL is kicking my ass! Really looking forward to my summer vacation!

So the mystery is still on about who broke into the Sanctuary and stole the book. I am thinking about all possibilites. Could it be that Lassiter had to give it up in order to set balance to a wrong that was done? Lassiter seem to know all in his present state but is not giving away anything. Whoever broke in, they must have gotten help from some inside or who used to be inside. See, not even the other side is safe.

I am really disappointed that the Warden may no longer invest in the Legacy series. So like GOTs we have a long wait for a little BDB action. If she so concern about fans money why does she not release it as a paperback instead of a hardcover?

By the way what are you reading and looking at on Tele these days? I am looking at reruns of Law and Order, it was my favourite from long ago and never gets old.

First off, Lassiter may know everything but I don't think he can actively get involved. He can only give hints and try to show others the solutions like he did with bringing both Jane and V up to the Sanctuary so they themselves would reason out what the answers to the problems are.

So what's this thing about WARDen and the Legacy series?

The only shows I'm currently watching, and not necessarily just summer viewing, are The Walking Dead. That may end after they kill off Rick though. Waiting for Vikings on HIstory to return. Just finished watching the episodes of season three that I missed of Lucifer, on Fox.
Will be watching Outlander when it returns in November. Of course, Thrones when it finally returns.
If they give us season two (I hope I didn't miss it, lol) of American Gods, I'll watch that. Season one was excellent.

Then there's PBS. I'll be watching Poldark, and if we get more, I liked The Durrells in Corfu, and 800 Words. I even caught some episodes of Victoria when I was at moms (no dish or cable) and it was pretty good. May go back and binge watch from the beginning.

Oops, almost forgot American Ninja Warrior. I get rather carried away with that one.

Into the Bad Lands is the only new show, I can think of right now. It's also on AMC and I rather like it.

I'm sure I'm missing a whole host of good shows but frankly I don't have the time.

he I am a big fan of Lucifer, unfortunately, they have canceled the series. Fans are tweeting drastically to showrunners to re-consider but I do not know. I love Victoria. Don't you find Jenna Coleman (Victoria) has a similar look to Nina Dobrev from (Vampire Diaries)? American Gods look very interesting so I might give it a go, I just hate to start looking at a series only for the showrunner to cancel without any closure.

As for the Legacy series from the warden, I have heard or read nothing. The warden seems to be more interested in releasing her one on novels. Maybe she is running out of material or ideas for the BDB/Legacy series.

I cannot wait to read who was responsible for the book being stolen from the Sanctuary. The new threat seems to be more formidable, and Throe is smart to always have a witness when killing a civilian who actually returns from the dead. So fitting for this place.

I am also interested to know who will be Murhder's HEA, yes, the warden said we have not met her, so I am wondering, choosen or civilian? The bets are on.

Have anyone heard anything if she is releasing BDB Legacy book in the next three months. I refuse to read the fire fighters stories.

Some information. It seems that the Legacy book (Boone's Book) will be released in August 2019. I wonder if that would be the end of the Legacy series.

I guess it will have to be unless they get a new class of recruits in. Have you heard when the next regular book will be out? April maybe and is it Jo Early and Mhurder's book?

I have no interest in Fire fighters either. I did pick up my mass market paperback of The Thief to add to my collection though.

It is not Jo Early but some doctor and I believe she is human. This book will be release in April, but are you aware next month there is a short stort release in the BDB world called Prisoner of the Night. I believe it will be released on the 7th January.

Yes, I know. Another BDB novella about entirely new characters. I rather enjoy reading about vamps in town that aren't necessarily connected with or only have superficial contact with the royal family and their entourage. It's fun to hear about what's going on with the rest of the civilian society.

So anyone read the lastest instalment of BDB? The Savior. Murhder's Book.

BTW @purriwinkle it seems we will be getting three BDB books this year (counting Murdher's book) along with Boone's in August and wait for it... Trey and Selena (reloaded) in December, I am so happy the warden has finally decided to spend her energy in the BDB world and not on fireman.

Come next year in 2020 its seems Jo Early will be match up with one of the bastards and get this, Devina the demon is back and the warden leaked that she will fall in love with Butch! LOL. The big question for me is, where the f*** is Lash?
