Sometimes the characters get dumbed down for a suspenseful moment on this show.

The exact same could be said for the death of Tyreese last season. For someone who had survived the ZA for as long as he did, he should have known to make sure the house they were investigating was clear of walkers before looking at the family pictures left behind. Yet he didn't do that, left his guard down, got bit by a walker and he ended up dying for a reason that REALLY made the character look like an idiot.

 

She couldn't have been more of a red shirt than if she was on her way home from a Star Trek convention wearing the most crimson red home made security detail cosplay costume.

 

What made me go WTF was not that she knelt down by the walkers or even that she was startled when they opened their eyes, but that she started screaming like she'd never seen a walker before and didn't stab them quick before they sat up and got her. Which begs the question of why she wasn't armed to protect herself. Stupid.

 

They are better off without her. Don't need to worry about keeping her supplied with insulin now. Harsh but true.

 

This is of course 100% true. However it might have worked out better for Daryl had she stayed alive, they couldn't fit three on the motor bike, so events may have unfolded differently.

 

Yep, that too. Having her die was very cheap.

 

The diabetic that got bit...was kinda hot. I love the minx hair cut.

 

The writers really missed a trick with Tina - they could have played out the story line a lot more than they did, questioning the group's morals once again. Oh well..

Seems like Jessie has some competition on the hairdressing business in the ZA world.

 

Is it though? If they didn't steal his bike, he wouldn't have found the gasoline truck. I'm assuming this thing if filled to the brim with fuel that will sustain Alexandria for a long time, making this one of the most fortuitous mishaps in the show.

More likely we may get an awesome explosion out of it.

It couldn't have been the first time she saw one "wake up".

 

I thought all of them were gonna die by the end of the episode - with the exception of Daryl.

 

I still find it interesting how long gasoline keeps in this world. Suspension of disbelief.

 

I know what you mean, but you have to remember that's a parallel universe where they have never heard of zombies. So it's possible that in their universe the petrol keeps longer. Plus a few other things(US army using Russian RPGs) that seem a little unlikely in our universe. Still, I love it. It's important to keep the story going and not get hung up on the details.
