The most useful tips are sometimes the most obvious. I had no idea you could cancel a semtex. I also had no idea you could cancel a guardian or sentry gun. If you ever saw some idiot running around with a semtex in his hand, that was me.

 

This is the only way I play.

i havent tested this extensively but i dont think the death machine can shoot through objects or walls.

did you know that the vsat will show you where a enemy stealth chopper is

did you know that even though fmj might not give your bullets extra direct contact damage, it sure will help taking out enemy scorestreaks quicker.

did you know the only scorestreaks you cannot survive wearing flak jacket that include bombs or missiles is the lightning strike and a unscattered hellstorm missile.

 

learned a neat trick from Blackworm.thought this guy was just a fast gunner but he was using a trick i never thought of he pays attention to "shadows" cast from the badguys. none here can't say that at one time or another you haven't ran into a building to recover your health and trying to hold on to your one or two point away scorestreak only to have it gone by some badguy who rushes into your room.focus on the doorway floor and you will see the badguys shadow before the badguy comes in the door.the bright sunny day maps are the best for this and once you start looking you will see shadows being cast on statues, walls and fountains.and once you learn what to look for this is better than a UAV.:eyebrows:

this is common knowledge but did you know you can cycle scorestreaks quicker if you only equip 1 or 2.

 

now thats a darn good idea.i run UAV and counter UAV for my team but rarelly get the third.any way to help my team light up the badguys is all good with just two scorestreaks can make a differences in team play.:usa2:

 

did you know that you can kill your teammate in hardcore and pick up a scav pack.

Maybe everyone already knew this but..

Did you know that if you kill an enemy in kill confirmed, his dogtag will disappear if he spawns and dies again (at least in hardcore, I assume core is the same but didn't check).

I lost a game by 1 point when two tags disappeared within a couple seconds of me killing them because the two guys spawned and died again.

 

If you have an Escort Drone in a Hardcore match and get teamkilled, the Drone will target the friendly player who shot you and kill them once.

 

More of a tip than a "Did you know", but you will find that your games will improve if you avoid rushing to certain areas, especially at the start of a game.
e.g on Overflow, almost every time, most of both teams will rush to that little corridor area, and they'll all die immediately, more often than not. I like to go the opposite way, like someone before me had suggested, than most of my team mates. It can help you get a jump on your enemies

 

Do that a lot. From back to the mw and waw days.

You can het B flag quicker when you directly go with with a quick classe. Best with 2 people to cover the direct pad from spawn enemy to B flag.
Did that a lot in MW2 where I played a lot of dom. Smoke can help also.
