    Fine for Merle, he can't get infected. Stupid for Daryl as one cut could mean death.

    Definitely thought it was ridic stupid for them to punch the zobies. Why is it that Merle can't get infected? I am forgetting that plot point.

    He has that thing covering his missing hand, he's already infected anyway, everyone is. It's just getting bitten or scratched is a risk when punching, is all.

    I didn't think it was stupid, it was the only way to keep them away from them.

    I was kind of hoping that Merle would get bitten, it would have saved us the agony of listening to him talk during the scene in the woods. The butt of Rick's gun couldn't have come soon enough.

    what he was hilarious. you gotta have a button pusher

    and i kno they addressed it in the comics but i dont remember if they have on the show. arent bites the only problem, scratches dont do anything.

    Ive always thought that punching walkers was pretty stupid. If you hit them in the mouth, odds are that you are going to hit the teeth at some point, like a normal fight. Wouldn't that be considered a bite?
