The extended preview on AMC and in the 4X06 thread show Martinez in that same camp site they showed in the preview after the episode. He's the one that shoots the walker that falls in the camp fire. I think this scene is a flashback to right after season 3 though. There are three tents shown so T Love is probably in one.

Better than having a beanstalk grow inside of you where giants (or a Giant Guv?) climb down from ;)
What would've happened if 3 people ate the beans~

Haha, that would be an ultimate way for the Guv to go down! Everybody's hoping he get killed by Michonne/Daryl/take-your-pick and then a "bug" gets him. People are gonna be ticked off, I think!

Glad to see the Governor back. Also, his intro of leaning on the tree, watching, classic Governor. A thinking, methodical killer.

I have absolutely no clue how this is going to play out. Any guesses?

I think he has something to do with the amount of walkers on the fence. I don't know how, but I think he does. We already know he likes to attack with them.

Thinking this guy is sooo far gone, no more cold and calculated assaults on the prison for him. Obviously the Guv believes he can't trust an army of peasants to do his bidding anymore. This crazed, vindictive killer wants to taste flesh and will probably just walk right on in and start slashing away:hatchet:

that made no sense to me. Why not move into a farmhouse that has at least SOME zombie protection, and if you board up the downstairs windows, a reasonable amount? but to live in a tent? What for? he'd better have the tent right next to the prison, because if it's miles away that would make even LESS sense.

This season has been amazing so far, and today was one of the best episodes.

...and then they ruin it by bringing back a dead horse.

We all knew it was coming but damn, I'm so annoyed they just didn't kill him off last season.

i get where you're coming from but I liked the fact the Guvnor didn't die. It makes it more realistic, in real life sometimes the bad guys survive.

for a man who's been living in his truck for the last six months he's looking remarkably clean shaven.

Please kill him quickly, season Three suffered because of the Governor

My theory is Martinez kills him once Shumpert gets his, Martinez eventually mans up and grows a pair and kills him

Season 3 suffered because of some plots related to the gov but David owned his role and the gov. himself was consistently great imo.

Poor governor. He probably fed those rats to the walkers for days, just to get the fence down and look at that: the fence is rebuilt in no time at all. :p

So fµcking pumped! Philip is my favorite character. The moment I heard the pulse playing, my heart started beating really fast, then I saw him turn his head. I have never geeked out so much in my entire life.

Are we watching the same show? Because I am the complete, exact opposite. (Minus the fact I think other survivor's are explained good enough). The zombies have always been a back drop to TWD, and to me, are always a side plot to show that extra threat of survival "horror" behind the scenes of the surviving people. The best plot lines and stories are the surivior's, whether good, bad, or just plain deranged, sadistic sociopath's.

Behind Rick, the governor is probably my favorite character. I really hope he never goes away, because his deranged thinking, his daughter, his heads, was just so original, and I don't think TWD will ever make a "bad guy" like him again. It's unfortunate he will most likely meet his end this season..... or not!!??

Agreed. The biggest problem is that they had Andrea responding to circumstances in an out of character fashion and that at points hampered the Governor storyline.

it' pretty common for people to assume the zombies are more important than human threats. They don't seem to realize that they aren't and never will be.

how exactly did the governor put the rats at the fence? did he walk up there and set them down? If so, why didn't the walkers chase HIM rather than a dead rat?
