This is a movie based on a true story about a black pianist in the 1950's who goes on tour in the deep South with a white tough as a driver. They later become friends, and remained so IRL as well.

It's an engrossing movie, and well worth watching, and shows how appalling life in America was institutionally not so long ago. I enjoyed it a lot.

I enjoyed the film too. I went into it thinking i might end up being a little bit cliche, but the film felt fresh even though it's a topic that been covered extensively in films.

Good to know because I have been on the fence about seeing this movie.

I did see The Favourite....damn good movie. Of course it helps that I adore Olivia Colman

I've seen The Favourite too. I usually like Rachel Weisz's films so I wanted to see this one. I agree, it was very well done.
