    In season 1, Merle Dixon is left chained ontop of a roof. A conflicted T-Dog decides to help him, but in the process drops the key and it falls into a drain.

    7 seasons later, that key our hero T-Dog dropped, made its way down the drain all the way to the Hilltop. Daryl will find the key and recognize it was the same key held by our beloved T-Dog trying to save his brother. This key will hold some value in unlocking something important that will turn the tides for team Rick in beating Negan. Our hero T-Dog saved Carol, and now has come through for us again!!!

    T-Dog is the key.

    The spirit and legend of T-Dog will unlock the love and compassion from Negan's cold, psychotic soul. His heart will grow three sizes and all the communities will become one.

    Episode 13 is a bottle episode where everyone sits around a campfire while the o.g. cast tells all the new characters their favorite T-Dog stories.

    If this is true,and how can it not be it does seem so obvious........Merle sacrificed his hand so that there might be Peace!

    T-Dog & Merle living together in perfect Harmony,I think I am going to write a Song!
