    Did I miss it, or was there no connection to the orange backpack in the episode. I expected a glimpse into what was in it - something. Was it in the background. Without a connection to it, last week's episode means less.

    Did I miss it?

    Yeah it was loaded with rocket launchers and explosives, you should have seen the looks on their faces.

    Good to know... But I still would've like the backpack to be in the episode.

    And some sort of introduction to the new crossbow would have been nice...

    I just want them to tie actions together in way that allows me to suspend disbelief in other ways.

    With all the product placement this season I would have expected the backpack to be full of pepsi and coors lite.

    It has gotten to the extreme, but I'd be okay with it if they'd take some of the commercials away.

    No. The backpack was symbolism, it didn't matter what was inside it.

    The contents were not the point of why it was in the episode "Clear". The traveler and the pack were there to show how much the people of Rick's group and society have changed since last year. The interaction with Morgan was the same kind of thing.

    This is similar to what I was fixing to say. The only significance the backpack had was to show that they are more interested in surviVING than surviVORS.

    Last week was a Morgan episode, yesterday was a Rick/Phillip episode, so I hope we get an orange backpack episode next week.
