    Still watching and somewhat enjoying, enjoyment level a bit higher than FTWD and a bit lower than TWD.

    This week's episode was pretty interesting. They showed the classic vampire trope of where the "children" vampires die when the "parent" vampire dies. I thought that was interesting.

    I also liked seeing some division and different agendas within the vampires.

    I am curious to see how the Virals are depicted in the show. Are they pretty scary looking?

    Depends on who the character is.

    Shauna Babcock is young and she's a hot blonde, so she rarely looks like a typical viral. Her eyes are about the only indicator

    Fanning has all of the gross viral veins on his face, but looks pretty normal otherwise.

    The serial killer guy should like more like Fanning but they make him look more menacing due to his personality.

    Anthony looks even more human than Shauna.

    Then there's 2 others (I think) that are full on monster-like, but don't hold me to that.

    Also, they all have a completely human (pre-infection) appearance/visually portrayed when they are telepathically communicating.

    There are some pretty big differences between the show and the books, which I guess is understandable. Some of them I wasn't totally happy with, but overall I think the show has been really good. I've enjoyed it so far.

    And it's all going to kick off pretty soon here I think. Although I thought that last week and they managed to contain things.

    Based on the previews I don't think a widespread epidemic is going to start next episode. And with only 4 episodes left this season, I'm kind of wondering now how much of that we are going to see at all. They may end this season with the very beginning of an outbreak being the cliffhanger.
