Its actually starting to improve a little bit. I'm liking this season better than S2 so far. A couple characters have kind of done 180's in terms of their direction. The backdrop is still absurd [like city buses still operating at night, despite the city being overrun by strigoi]. This show can't seem to decide what extent the local apocalypse has reached. By the end of season one we were lead to believe maybe half the population was sick with the disease, [which would be devastating to the infrastructure of the city] yet now that they've cleared areas of the city, its like every person is back in their homes, with hardly a population decline. And all businesses in those areas are operating normally, with apparently everyone alive to run them.

And in season two, Angel's friend's restaurant was still making deliveries at night in an area rampant with strigoi lol. And they still seemed in full operation, even after dark. Like, how does that make any sense? That would be like running into a fully operational restaurant about one week into the ZA on TWD, sitting down, eating a nice meal, paying your bill, and then heading back out to fight zombies. The backdrop has never made sense, but if you're willing to put that aside, the show is fairly good this season. Not great. Good.
