    I would be down with a new story about a new group of characters novelized, but I do hope we get a continuation of Lilly's story.

    Awesome. So glad to hear this. I thought the end of Fall of the Governor part 2 sounded open for another sequel. I hope we won't have to wait too long though :)

    First chapter of Descent is available for free preview through both Google Play (for Android) and Amazon for Kindle. Perhaps also available on other platforms.

    Too bad they don't release the novels during the "offseason".

    Here, I've got some good one's for you--

    The "Day by Day Armageddon" series by J.L Bourne(4 books)

    The "As the World Dies" Series by Rhiannon Frater(3 books); first book-"The First Days"

    "As The World Dies Untold Tales Volumes 1, 2, and 3" by Rhiannon Frater

    The "Dead World" series by Joe McKinney(6 books); first book-"Dead City"

    "World War Z" by Max Brooks

    "Scavengers" by Nate Southard

    "Pray to Stay Dead" by Mason James Cole

    These are all very, very phenomenal books, each one a compelling and riveting read in their own right. If you're looking for something more akin to The Walking Dead, to ease you into the the world of zombie literature, I recommend starting with the "As the World Dies" series by Rhiannon Frater. It's very similar to The Walking Dead, and you will love the characters.
