    When you are looting check everywhere. Ive seen pistols in corners of empty houses. Dont trust anyone alot of people kill you on site. Practice in PVE if needed so people cant kill you and you might meet people who are also new.

    If you are alone, avoid bears. You will have a hard time killing them, but to hits from a bear and you're dead. I've learnt this the hard way on several occasions.

    Our group started out getting familiar with the north west, the next wipe came and we got more familiar with the south east part of the map, the next time there is a wipe we will be moving to the north east and then subsequently to the south west. This allows you to understand what spawns where better. For instance, we know for certain, there is always a wrench in the church located just south of Bubba's truck stop inside the room before the office on the right. The little things like this really add up and help you in the long run with efficiency.

    My tips:
    1. Use common Sense
    2. Think about, if you were planning to ambush someone in the place you intend to loot, where you would hide... Then avoid that spot or kill him from behind
    3. Always check Lockers and File cabinets if you need ammo
    4. Police and Firestations usaully have decent weps and ammo
    5. If you see someone for the first time... Reload your gun and watch out for sudden moves
    6. Prepare for the worst... = build shelters and store some stuff in them... but not too much or the best stuff you got or you will cry when u lose it... stashes work too
    7. Always have fun and see every death as a learning experience!!!

    Try not to drink purified water, grab 5 blackberries and make a blackberry juice! I think it gives a little more hydration back than straight water.
