I can't legitimately call any game "the best of all-time" because I've never played every game ever made, and I never will. So I'll just limit the list to my personal favorites with a "one game per franchise" rule.

10. The Walking Dead TellTales game (although season 2 is somewhat of a letdown)

9. MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries (Seriously, Battletech is probably the best space sci-fi franchise to have never had a legitimate TV show or movie.)

8. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero (close between Zero and 3, but Zero is more polished and just fun overall imo.)

7. Metal Gear Solid 3 (I'll admit I'm not a huge MGS fan like my dad is (or many other people for that matter,) but MGS3 is just so good.)

6. Pokemon Emerald (I was introduced to Pokemon during gen 3. ORAS is a great reimagining, but there's something special about Emerald that ORAS doesn't capture.)

5. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (It perfectly captures the early 90s feel despite some anachronicities (STP's debut album was released after the game's setting.))

4. Jak 2 (If I could include every Jak And Daxter game (except Daxter and The Lost Frontier) I would, but Jak 2 is probably the best imo.)

3. Guitar Hero 2 (My favorite rhythm game with Rock Band 2 close-second. Made me a Rush fan and introduced me to Primus - both bands influenced my bass playing.)

2. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (my favorite Naughty Dog Crash game. Plus, Josh Mancell's soundtrack is fantastic and got me into doing music for a living.)

1. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (tough choice between 3 and 2, but Nemesis is my favorite boss character of any game. I like every main RE game to some extent.)

 

I really love the GTA.

I'm a game blogger and I've been quite into survival crafting games throughout my whole life, nr1 for me is definitely Minecraft, but there are a bunch of other super awesome survival crafting games in my list that I consider worthy of the throne.
