    43 was the female member of Heath's group. Annie. She had a busted ankle and died right before glenn survived under a dumpster

    That sounds right. My mind was more off on a track of it being someone pleading to be put down from turning, and I couldn't figure it out. You might've nailed it.

    Totally agree, that's where my mind went also. That Neuro is a tricky one.

    Even if it's not the right answer (which I believe it is) you get bonus points for thinking outside the box, especially considering the time lag between her last words and her death; mid-season finalé to mid-season
    premiere.

    lol, it appears I haven’t, and you and @Seventh_son are right about someone pleading to be put down before turning, after all. It feels like it’s on the top of my tongue but then it goes.

    I kept thinking back at the scene when (after they put down Deanna’s walker form) Michonne talks to Carl about how she would want him to do it, because it needs to be family, someone who loves you.

    So who begged their loved one to do it?

    Affirmadove! Yes, he did. The two words before 'have a look' were "ok, Hershel", but I thought "ok Hershel, have a look" would be way too easy.

    Was that maybe Dr Carson (to Gabriel)? They were having a tug-of-war for that whole episode regarding faith, and I seem to recall Carson "seeing the light", as it were, by episode's end.

    Was it a Hilltop person after the Saviors attacked them with the infected weapons? It was after the craziness when people started turning. There was a guy sick who realized he was infected too.
