I don't know. When he came on last season I was expecting some big things from him, some ass kicking, big guy, things. He was a wimp by the fence and at the store.

Is this how is in the comics? I know...I haven't read them, no time.

I like it. Makes him more human.

I dislike this character from the last season, and Scot Grimple just said that Tyreeese is a "warm heart person, does not want to grow up and not want to kill walkers", and "this has to be changed", I am EXTREMELY DISLIKE THIS REMARK

I think he was just acting like a puss wag because he wanted Karen to feel bad for him.

They will continue to grow into his story, I think his character will be better than last season. It was sorta a disappointment last season, but I have a better feeling this year.

Yeah, I was disappointed, because his character in the comic is a total badass.

He isn't as damaged emotionally as Rick and actually cares about his own safety unlike Rick who is borderline suicidal. He had to be convinced to bring a gun so obviously he still isn't quite right.

Ty is always gentle when he's not pissed off.

He didn't have any chance to be a badass or whatever. He needs character too and everyone's shining moment isn't in a premiere.

Comic fans know what I mean when I say there is a scene coming that will change that.
He didn't walk up to Rick, turn around, and take on a herd head first while whistling ride of the valkyrie's in the comic either. He didn't do anything for quite awhile after he joined. He is not gonna be badass 24/7 because this is realistic.

    You can't judge so quickly.

A wimp? Why is it that when a male character shows a little bit of vulnerability he gets labeled a wimp? It seems reasonable why he, or anybody, wouldn't want to kill former humans beings.

He seems like a big Teddy Bear.

The issue I have is all he shows is nothing but vulnerability, and of course so far he is a wimp

This is the premiere. Things will change, his character will change. So far, he's pretty close to how comic Tyreese is. Not in what he's done, but how he's characterized.

Yeah. You could call him that. He may be a huge badass, but he's not a total unfeeling hardass.

It is shocking! I will be surprise that anyone who read comic would consider the comic Tyreese and TV Tyreese is "pretty close" character

He's really not much different from comic Tyreese when he was introduced at all.

He didn't go "badass" until some terrible things happened. It is already shaping up the same thing happening.

How is he not? Beyond just saying he's a wuss, that is. He has a moral compass, but is imperfect. He is not spurred to extreme action unless forced, and he evidently will be later. He's a bad shot, but extremely effective with melee. I'd say there are more similarities than there are differences in terms of character. Having him involved in different situations is largely separate from his base character, for the most part, so I'm not referring to that.

And yes, I did read the comics.

OK, well, what else I could say, we must read the different comic

Or we have different opinions about the same comic, and yours is not the universal interpretation.
