The burned dead bodies we saw in 312 are NOT the vatos. This episode was in King County, where Rick was from. The Vatos were in Atlanta.

Its actually pretty good, they should have left it unless they are planning for something else later with them.

    The deleted scene isn't canon.

Because the OP was put in the Episode 312 forum, I assumed he was talking about the burned bodies in the building that looked similar to the Vatos' in 312, not the deleted scenes on the season two set....

Either way, those weren't the Vatos and the deleted scene isn't canon, so we just don't know what happened to them. Personally, I'd rather they keep it that way. They may be useful, but they don't need to bring back every survivor group on the show.

I posted this in another thread but I had earlier imagined that the Vatos and Morgan would show up as a surprise just in time to help fight the Govs people, but it looks as if that wont be happening.

Even if Vatos are still alive, I doubt they would be at that nursing home in Atlanta. That city wouldn't make you survive there for a long time.

Agreed I'd be surprised if they were still alive and even more so if Rick and co see them again

I think i know what happened to them.

One of the elders died. And since we are all turning. No matter how we die. We all turn. They just didn't know that yet.

Besides all of that, the group didn't kill the Vatos.. they already were killed when they wanted to visit them

Technically in the deleted scene we didn't see Guillermo or his higher ups. It was all just the elderly shot in the head.

So Guillermo and his group could have killed all the old people so they'd die quick and painlessly and then they all left for some place safer.

This seems quite logically. The vatos group wasn't overrun by another group, they are the ones who killed all their eldery fast and painless so they could move on

I never thought of it that way, I have seen the deleted scenes and I figured the Vatos were killed along with the elderly people. If they are not dead, it could mean we'll see them again, maybe?
