I thought it foreshadowing when Beth said Daryl would be the last man standing.

 

And also Daryl saying he's never left Georgia.

 

Maybe. Or at least that they will try to head there.

 

I think so too. It will be interesting to see if they actually try to make it near Washington on the show, or if they change that part and settle somewhere still in Georgia. Because its highly likely they will film in Georgia.

 

I'm figuring the way the season plays out is everyone groups up at Terminus and they come to the conclusion that there's nothing left for them in Georgia so they might as well just join Abraham on the trip to DC. Perhaps we get a similar scene to the end of Season 2 with the shot of the prison.

 

I hear Nebraska is nice.

yeah they are deffo heading to DC, not sure if they all get there but I think that's the direction they will be all heading to come season finale

 

With all the snow in D.C. at least they are accustomed to walking. No public transportation I hear.

Abraham's mission aside... why would you go to DC? There are a lot more people there than rural GA, which means more walkers and other dangers.

 

That's a good question they also have colder winters and a shorter growing season. I'm also wondering how they get there? Drive? Fly? Take a train from Terminus? Walk the Appalachian Trail? lol

 

They said this season will end on a hopeful note; I don't think it'll be that Terminus will end up as their new home, but that it'll be the decision they take to travel to D.C.
The spoon was indeed nice foreshadowing.

I think Beth like Daryl has never really been anywhere outside of Georgia and she also like Daryl was scavenging things she thinks she should value from the old life.

Sort of like when she changed clothes and wore the least practical things she possibly could but they were at least clean and pure and sort of upscale too and she is but a simple girl from the farm.

I see it as just a memento of the journey but then what do I know anyway?

Since they have not seen mention of Terminus yet or heard anything about D.C. at all I just don't see it.
