Now, now. In another viewpoint it is anti-pc and being edgy........your pc and support your hope of social engineering that is racially correct.

 

I have always viewed this show as a black comedy......there is indeed something very funny here......

 

That didn't take long. With this being your 6th post, it shows you only troll the forum to gripe about something the show did that pissed you off. Every show is not gonna live up to the rules of your agenda. TWD has no need to address any so called PC issues.

 

They have been pushing multiracial couples since Abe/Sasha. Rick/Michonne, even Zeke/Carol, I can see out of necessity. But a number of them like aforementioned Abe/Sasha, are out in place on purpose.

 

You are probably one of those people that troll Star Wars forums simply because they have a girl as the main character now.

In anycase you probably need to read the comics before you say anything about this because the reason they are having a lot of interacial relationships now doesn't have anything to do with what you are accusing the show of. It's because Andrea is not alive in the show at this point. If Andrea was still alive she would be with Rick and Michonne would be with Ezekiel.

Michonne was the next logical choice to have get involved with Rick because she would be one of the people still left that he would feel closest to. Carol has always been closer to Daryl than she was with Rick so she wouldn't be a better option than Michonne.

 

One thing in TWD universe you have to realize there just isn't many people left.

In a world such as this human companionship becomes more important than race. Gab and Anne seem to get along and like each other so it just makes sense they could hook up. Who else would make sense for either one of them?

As for Rick and Michonne. Who else could you see either of them with? Michonne and Gab wouldn't make sense. They don't seem compatible for a relationship. When Morgan was in the show, he just seemed too loony to have a relationship with Michonne or anyone for that matter. And who would've made a better partner for Rick? The only woman available of the main group would've been Carol at one time. I couldn't see that ever happening. They never had that kind of relationship.

I suppose Daryl and Carol could've become an item, but they seem to more of a brother sister type relationship. They're really good friends and care about each other. As for Carol and Ezekiel. They're about the same age and enjoy each others company. In their world that's about as good as it's going to get.

 

In the walking dead universe there are too few survivors to pick from for the perfect partner. So second best might have to do, you can't be too fussy.
