This episode stunk, to put it kindly. Boring in the extreme. Killed off Tyrese -- are you kidding me -- in the most boring episode you can imagine. What did they do -- string together a bunch of clips from earlier episodes? I am beyond disgusted and would NEVER have thought TWD would publish a stinker like this. Tyrese did not deserve such a stupid death in a boring series of navel-gazing yak-yak followed by carelessless of splitting up inside an over-run village, following back by dumb-a$$ flashbacks of long dead characters. I have loved this show from Day 1. If this is what is to be expected in the future, this episode might be the end of that.

Know what apparently happens when you're about to die? Your life flashes before your eyes. That's what happened for Tyreese, and there was probably less than thirty seconds of footage from past episodes. Honestly, all I can even remember was Rick beating up Ty at the prison and then that scene from The Grove.

I thought it was a fantastic episode to be honest. I gave it an 8.8, rounded up to a 9 for this poll. Something about the return about all of those dead characters made the entire thing kind of sinister if you think about it.

I really enjoyed this episode. I suspected a lot of what was going to happen (from reading on here, not because I'm smart) but I still enjoyed it. I liked the style and it make me feel stuff and things. That's what I ask for from TWD and they delivered.

I gave it a 9 only because I'm so reluctant to give out 10s. I thought it was an intense episode, and as someone who doesn't read the spoiler section, I was pretty shocked. I like the artsy bits of it. The emotional aspects of both Noah finding his home gone to shit and then Ty... lotsa feels from this gal. I actually really liked Ty seeing all those peeps.

Eight. Seeing the Governor again was perty nostalgic. I loved that transition of Lizzie and Mika holding Tys hand that turned into Ty getting his arm chopped off. The ending was pretty good, them dragging him across the forrest and into the car and finally dying was sad. Wish we saw a Hershel vision too doe.

I really liked the episode. The concept, while not a groundbreaking idea in general, was far different from anything we have seen on the show. For the most part I avoided reading recent articles and spoilers, and I am so glad I went that route. I was able to experience some WTF moments. Chad Coleman was excellent. Michonne is friggin' sick and tired of just being.

For me, the one who stole the episode with his performance (and much to my surprise) was the guy who played Martin.

I am going to give the show a second watch before I decide between my 8 or 9 rating.

I can understand a seven rating from some viewers...anything below that is reedic IMO

Wow, this show has come a long way from the farm and the prison. Sorry, everything is disconnected now, everyone is scattered and I had no idea tonight where everybody was. I thought they had just left the hospital in Atlanta, but they kept saying they were 100 miles from Washington.....huh? The problem now is there is no core group to care about - Rick, Carl, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie.....nobody is around in an episode long enough to get interested in their story anymore. Maybe we'll get a few minutes here or there of somebody, but there's no substance. If this was the mid season opener, it sucked. Tyreese was a great character that added complexity to the group, and he had tons of fans rooting for him. Really, you couldn't just hack off his arm (which was great, by the way) and then have him LIVE???? Lori and Herschel had better endings - this was a waste. Who cares about reruns of dead characters unless they revealed some sort of secret, something interesting? Blaaaaaaahh!!!! (Sorry to fans who disagree)

    7. Too much time used on deceased characters (whom Tyresse didn't have very much of a relationship with). I appreciated the art imagery but they got repetitive. Also, the group continues to separate; even inside Shirewilt.

There was a time jump. They didn't want to show us 500 miles of driving with nothing much happening and I very much appreciated that. And the group is together, they just smartly split up so that only some of them went into Noah's town just in case things went bad. There are a lot of characters. If they try to get all of them time in every single episode we will only get 5 minutes of each person each episode. That wouldn't be very helpful eitther. They are all going to be travelling together to DC now so we will have lots of togetherness time coming up.

    I gave it a 10.

I posted this in the praise and positivity - but it reads more like a review - so guess I should post it here.

Really an amazing, deep episode. I really liked the intro scene before the title credits. It was so unusual and different and just sets the tone for the whole episode.

Oh man the feelings for all involved. Glenn just seems numb at this stage... Like he thinks nothing really matters and that no ones in control, and it doesn't seem to matter what they do.

Rick seems like he's teetering on the edge of pushing everyone too far, and pushing so hard to make it - which can seem like they are losing their humanity. Michonne definitely worries about that that. Seeing her tear up realizing that Shirewilt was gone and couldn't be fixed or saved was so powerful - As was her speech to Rick. I love that Rick agreed with her in checking out Washington. Great moment between the two.

Tyreese. "I know What's happened, and what's going on!" and he hasn't lost his humanity, and honestly seems like he was in some ways happy to pass. That way he never does have to lose his humanity, or compromise himself or his morals... Did anyone else think that? It was Like he was at peace with himself, and accepted that it was somehow better this way for him. But of course that leaves poor Sasha having lost Bob and Tyreese.

I loved seeing Bob back for a bit, giving Tyreese some sensible and heartfelt advice. Lizzie and Mika, wow just amazing to see them two. Martin - that douchebag is clearly in Hell with The Governor! LOL!

Loved the nod to Beth and having that be a nice 'end' to her as well.

I thought it was very deep and meaningful, and a lot of layers there that won't be apparently until perhaps the rest of the season is over - and in rewatching a few times!
