I gave it an 8, one up from last weeks episode.

Though it wasn't all fights and screams at least this episode actually went somewhere. We got to see their reactions to struggling for food and water to this extant which I don't think we've seen in the show so far. I liked seeing Daryl & Maggie's reaction to Beth's death and how Sasha is reacting to Tyreese's. We've saw the arrival of Aaron. I liked Rick's speech in the barn and I liked seeing them pull together to keep the walkers out.

The episode was also still a little too slow for my liking and Gabriel is really starting to annoy me so they're the two major reasons why I didn't give this episode a 10.

 

I think the scenes with Daryl in mourning saved the episode. But otherwise it was okay.

 

I'm rewatching the show from the beginning and this episode was worse than the worst episode i've ever watched . The script writers must have been on strike for this one the dialogue was either forgettable or non existent , the plot holes were so big that reanimated corpses seem the most believable part of the show the Zombie hoard at the door just blew away in the wind and everyone just went to sleep , yeah right !! . I rated it a 5 .

 

I would say 5. Love the series and have been watching from the beginning. I understand developing the story lines but IMO this was a weak attempt. It seems to be getting worse and I fear I may become disinterested if they can't figure it out.

Looks as if I'm in the minority here, but This episode was a waste of my time for the most part. Could have skipped it completely and moved to next week and would not have missed anything significant.

 

I gave it a 7. For me it was a bit slow and a little too sappy. I'm all for the human drama, but the drama part is getting to be a little too much IMO.

 

I completely agree!! TWD is my fav show of all time, but if it continues to be this drama driven it might not stay my fav!!

 

I loved this episode, especially at the end with Rick's speech and everybody coming together to help each other survive. I think this prooves the importance of having a group and working together. Gave it a 10

 

I'll give this one an 8 - it was slower paced than I expected, but I loved Rick's speech and am really intrigued by the introduction of Aaron at the end.

I watched this episode with my dad, who hasn't seen an episode since season 1. When the group was walking down the road, my dad confusedly asked, "Are those zombies walking behind them?" I laughed and responded with, "Oh Dad, you have no idea how far they've come".

 

You shoulda been like, "No dad those are a bunch of hobos following them asking for spare change."

 

In his defense, I think he thought they might have been additional members of the group. And then I had to explain to him that nearly everyone from the first season is dead and also that he may be blind.

 

It's easy to misconceive nowadays that Derle is Chewbacca

 

And I hate to admit that this was the first episode I thought Rick may have been just a little too beardey.

 

I know, who am I even? But as my crazy grandmother said to me about my own husband's beard, at a table surrounded by our family, "doesn't that thing itch your belly?" True story.

 

FWIW, I just saw a gif of wet t-shirt Rick and I take it all back.

 

I also shouldn't have watched the episode with my dad. Talk about a buzzkill!

 

Umm,never, never ever watch TWD, with those, who will impair your Rick beard vision
