I have this feeling it's going to be both, however, in terms of progressing this story it's going to be Sophia. Think of what'll happen to Carol. And Daryl, who I think holds a candle for her... Imagine those two in some weird kind of suicide pact.

Well I want the Sophia searing story to end, so hopefully that is tonight but yeah the barn is going to be very interesting indeed.

 

Sophia first, then the barn. I thought the interview posted ealier about what happens after the break mentioned the return of season 2 being on the farm. ETA: I found the quote below.

"There are more characters coming onto the canvas, though Kirkman won’t get specific about who else pops up at Hershel’s farm."

 

They are going to at least head in that direction. They talk about it quite a bit and this show is "loosely" following the comics. The comics plot destination could happen on their way to Ft. Benning.

My real point is to get the group away from the farm.

 

I don't understand that. Lets go to a military base that doesn't even have a full fence around it. Unless that has changed since the late '80s

 

When all those walkers bust out of that barn, they'll be going somewhere. In a big hurry.

 

I would have said go to another farm nearby, but Maggie mentioned them being burnt down or infested.
They should be looking to resupply ammo (AND GET BETTER WEAPONS) and clearing a farm about 10 miles away. Far enough not to piss off Hershal (he is medically trained and a valuable resource) but close enough to support each other if needed.
