a broken broomstick handle, as each can pierce through a person with ease. Or at least that is what i learned from last night's episode.

Have we ever been told what wood Morgan uses for his stave? Some hard woods are very hard. At any rate, it's not a broken broomstick, nor did his use of it strain credulity - he's strong and skillful, it's strong and pointy. If you don't hit a rib, pushing through a meat sack isn't too difficult. People seem to get accidentally impaled on fenceposts often enough. As for skulls, you don't need to bash holes in a skull - they come with two huge holes that lead directly to the brain, with just a squishy eyeball in the way.

The kid, on the other hand? Through Gavin's throat? Pushing up, so not even negligible body weight and gravity helping? I'm beginning to suspect this whole show is just a work of fiction...
