I've not read the comics, so this is just musing. I think it could be really brilliant foreshadowing.

It reminded me of the people with the signs on them that the Governor found earlier in the season.

Those signs have got to come into play sooner or later...

Well they were already explained. The guy who owned the cabin where the Governor and crew went scavenging did them.

The top half of a dead woman was attached to the bottom half of a mannequin. It was probably just a conversation piece.

Yes, he was sitting on the front porch of his cabin, and he put a sign on himself saying "murderer", indicating that he was the one who killed the others, and then he shot himself. They came across his corpse when they approached the cabin.

There was some weird signage this episode. What was that "Welcome to the Dog Trot" deal with the dead bodies on the floor?

I didn't quite understand that either. A dogtrot is a hallway that connects two separate areas of a house. Or sometimes I think dogtrot can refer to a house that is divided into two halves. The reason I know this is because a few months ago I was thinking of buying a cabin on a lake, and when the real estate agent was giving me a tour, she said "isn't this a lovely dogtrot", and I was like "what the living hell is a dogtrot?". Then I looked it up later that night lol. Were they just trying to say the room the dead bodies were in was a connection between two parts of the building?? And if that's he case, they were even nerdier than me. :p

There was some sort of struggle between survivors. Like country club members and the staff. Probably over provisions and/or the club house itself.

According to The Talking Dead it turned into class warfare, so presumably the poor staff killed the rich members.

This makes since. I didn't understand it either but going with my theory above. It could mean the literal dividing point the two groups original decided on? And the figurative meaning of the inhabitants fighting each other.

Right, whatever the meaning is, its very obscure. Which I like. I like obscure things.

This is what I was gonna say. They revealed what happened with the hanging zombies as well as presumably the ''rich bitch" in the talking dead. Class warfare between employees and members... look like neither side won in the end though

Right. I know it was a funny scene but I think the point of Beth putting on the nice Country club cloths and Daryl splashing blood all over them was pointing to this too.

I need to re-watch but I think most of those walkers in the golf club massacre room had on golfing type cloths too.

Right, which was kind of silly. They obviously lived there for awhile after the ZA started, so why would people still be wearing sweaters with button down shirts underneath? How could a walker like that still exist in the building?

Because of the pro shop, which was full of golf clothes.
