    Alicia was drilling baseballs so she could put explosives in them so they could be shot out to distract walkers?

    Madison was building a bedroom for the girl, continuing that project at the end to show she thinks the girl will join up with them? Or a livestock pen--who knows.

    What was Nick making with that long rubber tube? It looked like a breaker to calm the waters to me, but that doesn't seem right.

    To me it looked like he was patching up an already existing tube...maybe a water supply running to the gardens?
