I just discovered it and I think it’s a scream! Of course, I love vampires and this one had me laughing out loud. I didn’t catch the movie but I’ll have to look for it.

The shows are 30 minutes and the humor is very droll. You need to know your vamps to really appreciate it, maybe, but that should be no problem for you. I think you’d get a kick out of it.

 

This gets better and better. It's so stupid it's hysterical!!! I loved Laszlo trying to hypnotize the cat in the next cage to spring the locks. And Jake McDorman (Avery Brown, BTW) as Gregor is a hoot. He's probably off to the looney bin now that Nadja's "restored" his memories of his past life, lol.

 

Was it funny in a "It's so bad it's funny" way or were they trying to be funny?

 

The writing is good. The humor is dry and intentional. It’s a spoof of the vampire genre. Think of a Christopher Guest mockumentary like Best In Show.

Well, in one episode there was a brief scene of “Gregor” whacking it, lol

 

Now I've really gotta watch this show. No.... wait.... that came out wrong.

 

Season two will be premiering on April 15th!

Saw the first two epis and I think they’re off to a good start! Looks like they’re going to explore Guillermo’s new found vampire slayer talent and they brought back Gregor. Maybe we’ll see Nadja’s little fledgling in a future episode too. Good fun!

 

They just wrapped up season two and it was the most hilarious doofy sh*t ever! I really hope they get a season three renewal. We absolutely need to know what our vamps are going to do, probably nothing, lol, now that they’ve witnessed Guillermo’s vampire slaying abilities. Most likely give him another day off, lol.

Season 3 has begun on FX, Sept. 2 on Thursdays at 10.

Looks promising as our lovable group of Staten Island vamps deal with the aftermath of season two’s finale. Kudos to Guillermo for coming out on top, as always, lol, what would they do without him? Not to mention we’re delving into Nandor’s love life! Show hasn’t lost any of it’s comedic edge.
