What weapon(s) would you bring in ZA ?

The Asp is actually a fairly terrible weapon for a ZA, they are a popular tool amongst police forces specifically due to their lack of lethality. That lack of lethality is by design, indeed it is a prominent selling feature of the ASP baton.

As for what I would want: twin ice axes, compound bow, and a bowie knife.

While fire arms seem to be an attractive option, and are superior against human assailants, they are unsustainable long term. Ammo is finite, and while some individuals possess the skills necessary to make ammunition eventually you will run out as supplies dwindle. You would need both a gun smith, and a chemist on the team.

    Good point.

Indeed ammo can be a problem on the long run (imho).

    I was wondering about Machete's.

Here in 'Zombiland' shops with 'weapons' are not that common as in say the USA.
But I saw a shop with lots of Machete's, but they all had different shapes and sizes.
(short, long, curved, rounded, straight, stuff like that)

What is the difference and maybe the 'best' ?

I would probably prefer a machete, spear or sword. You dint need to get close, can sharpen them, and never worry about ammo.

guns - useless after ammo runs out
bow and arrow/cross bow - arrows and bolts a worry if you run low, hard to find. You can make arrows, but what a chore
    knives - too close range

Knives and a cutlass (machete) will be my go to. Guns & ammo will be for the tight situations

Yeah the 'silent' weapons are to be preferred at some distance.

I'd prefer something blunt, like a sledgehammer for example. Can make short work of the brains and alot less likely to get stuck in your target unlike bladed weapons.
