Where was Morgan going?

    Towards the end of the show, Morgan walked away from Carol and said "I'm going to kill them one by one. Somewhere else." I think most people meant he was talking about taking down the Saviors. I don't know if that was definitely true. Perhaps by "them" he was referring to walkers and he was about to return to his true mission. To Clear. I don't know if we will ever get an answer to where he was going or what he was going to do. However I think it is a very real possibility that he was going to revert back to Crazy Morgan and begin Clearing walkers once again. Carol very well could have saved Morgan from his own insanity.

    I think Morgan wanted to kill Saviors, but not along the Kingdom's borders. He wanted to confuse Negan's lieutentants; make them believe there was an unknown group picking them off one by one.

    Well....Lennie James just confirmed that Morgan intended to kill saviors on Talking Dead. So much for that theory

    I think it was obvious Morgan was talking about killing the saviors.....

    He was going off to single handedly wage guerrilla warfare against the Saviors. He might still.

    There is another possible take on this. He claimed he was doing this 'somewhere else'. He may have meant that he was going back to his crazy days...killing random survivors.....one by one. Not walkers....survivors.

    Which is why Carol finally stepped up to stop him. Because that was what he did before...he killed survivors...one by one....

    She allowed him to leave...but not really leave..

    I got a kick out of Morgan taking Carols place at the little mental health cabin. kinda funny them trading places

    To be honest I thought Morgan meant walkers when he talked about killing them 1 by 1. Sort of glad he was talking about the saviors - although think Morgan is a bit of a lose cannon now with his flashbacks

    That's what he was going to do, but I think that since Carol at least got him to stop for a bit that he's going to work within a group. Not sure it that's going to be with Rick's or Ezekiel's but it'll probably be the Kingdom.

    I didn't feel that he meant he would just start picking off random people somewhere else, otherwise what's the point of going to the effort to pay Carol a visit to tell her about it?

    Considering the 'clear' flashbacks and Morgan mistakenly referring to Benjamin as Dwayne, I thought he was referring to both walkers and saviors when he said he was going to kill them all one by one.


    LOL @ mental health cabin! :D

    That's the official name now, Carol's mental health cabin!

    Morgan is back and ready to kill all the Saviors and I think he will kill quite a few before being killed himself. Then Rick will have a Morgan flashback when he has the opportunity to kill Negan and will then decide to throw Negan in the jail cell that Morgan built. I really hope Rick or someone else just kills Negan and we can move on, but part me of thinks the writers will throw Negan in that stupid cell.

    Especially since he can rig all sorts of traps to kill them just as he did in "Clear" with the walkers. Morgan is very stealthy.

    Morgan is shown to be a ruthless and talented killer, handy with booby traps and the post above mentions. At the end of 7x13, he was sharpening his staff into a spear. He's readying his Savior-slaughtering weapon. Morgan and Carol are back.
