Scandinavia is a region of nordic countries I'm pretty sure not just one. But deffently Switzerland. But that would never happen since they were neutral in like every major war in history.

 

Sorry didn't see that. I've heard stuff is crazy expensive there. Switzerland is just a top of my head answer, I could probably come up with a better option if I put time into thinking about it. I agree with the fact any Scandinavian country would be great.

 

Ha that's right Switzerland!! But since I live there I'll have to say Finland. They know how to treat their citizens.

It'd probably be a mess regardless of which country took control. The scale is too big, and the number of cultures that conflict with whatever country is chosen will cause a lot of conflict.

There's also a problem with picking a country alone, and that's that certain people would be in control, and may not be representative of how that country is now. For example, there's a lot of smart Americans, but there's also lots of stupid ones that actually have a significant amount of power. We don't want that.

Get the right people, and the country really doesn't matter. Or at least, you'd have the best odds of this working (well, assuming "right people" was universally agreed upon, which it isn't). But a blanket country decision is pretty much a crapshoot.

But to answer the question, I would pick Canada if I could pick my own country, but I can't, so I'll go with Switzerland.
