On a serious note, I'll give it to my boys across the pond in the U.K.

 

It's a great place to go as a tourist. Anyone who serves you is ridiculously respectful, to a completely unnecessary degree. Tipping isn't just not expected, it's not wanted, and everything is fast as hell.

I was particularly amazed to see how little security there is. You could steal tons of shit from stores and no one would ever know. They're incredibly narrow, there's no metal detectors, no cameras, and cashiers are on one end of one level of a store only. Certainly gives the impression of a well disciplined people.

On the other hand though, there's a reason their suicide rate is so high. There's such an emphasis on honor that shaming your family isn't particularly difficult to do, and there's nothing that takes precedence over it. Jump in front of a train, and your family has to pay for everyone else's time that you wasted. Not exactly sympathetic.

I don't live in that culture, so I won't say anything definitively, but I have to wonder how happy the average person really is there. They've also got a brutal population issue, where most young people don't want to have kids, or even be in relationships. They're going to have some serious problems in the future, with a ridiculous amount of old people, and very few young.

Actually, when you step back and take a look at the broad scale, all countries kinda suck.

 

Japan, hell no hahaha. I can't pick the USA, I reside there. So, I'd pick South Africa.

 

Kind of random but south Africa is stacked with kfcs.

 

Australia. We have very few guns and since the rest of the world will be over all the time for a BBQ and with the traditional aussie style open bar everyone will be having way too much fun to be hating. We would also hand out cab charges so everyone can party likes its 1999.

 

Yep, I was there for the world cup in 2010 and KFCs there are everywhere. It's like McDonalds here.
