Which of the two died first in Season 4?

    I thought Nick died before Madison but then I thought I saw Nick in the car when Madison died in the stadium.

    We saw Nick die first and didn't know what happened to Madison. We saw her die in a flashback, while Nick was still alive.

    Yeah, we saw Madison "die" in a flashback.

    Madison died first but we saw her die second

    Nick died second but we saw him die first

    The show died simultaneously as Nick's death was happening we just did not realize it until 4B

    Even Kim Dickens and Coleman Domingo doesn't seem so sure about that.

    She was under contract and didn't want to leave. It was a very poor decision to cut her loose after 4A, particularly since they killed Nick in that same half season. I think with Colman it's more of him wanting her to come back than there being a realistic possibility. They certainly could since, but there might also be some bad blood between Kim and the show now. She really enjoyed the role.

    It was a baseball stadium, I'm sure it had dumpsters to hide under. :p
