I used to say Alexandria....but I pick The Kingdom these days. Everybody works for their share, and share seems to be abundant. Everyone gets along and helps each other. There's a choir and a cute king and a TIGER!!! Rawwrrrr.

I'd choose Alexandria, because when the war is over, i'd be in a community with solar power and eventually be able to return to somewhat normal.

With solar power running throughout the community, you could have a/c and central heating, warm showers, set up a local intranet with a bunch of electrical wire and computer equipment just sitting around DC and connect it to every building, play video games and just kind of enjoy a luxury of living pre apocalypse.

With power, you could also install security cameras inside the walls and outside as well as motion sensors, so you don't have to have people physically manning the tower 24/7 and you would get a heads up if any people were heading your way, so you can be on guard when they arrive to the gate.
