    There is a lot of speculation regarding who the character pictured below [from the 1016 sneak peek] could be.

    Here is what I've seen so far:

    Morgan [Silly. You can see from the body habitus that it is not Lenny James]

    Heath [Silly. You can see from the body habitus that it is not Corey Hawkins].

    Maggie [come on now]

    Hilda or Midge [come on now].

    Virgil [body habitus issue, plus whaaaaaaaa?]

    Mercer [nah]

    Maggie's son Hershel. Yep, seriously. He'd be 8 years old.

    Stephanie [a-duh].

    Connie [a-dubbins]

    Beth [maybe]

    Harley Shellhammer [quite possibly]

    One other fairly interesting possibility. Trey Barker or a remix of him. Barker was a character originally seen in the Woodbury novel, Rise of the Governor. He was a member of a National Guard team who ran the town before Phillip Blake showed up. He dies in the novel, but a non-canon version of him was adapted to the Walking Dead: Road to Survival video game. Apparently, although I can't seem to find a pic, Barker, in the game, sometimes wears a facial covering similar to a mask, and a choice of weapon you can pick for him is two serrated sickles, one in each hand, that look similar to these weapons. According to Scopely, the creator of the Road to Survival, the game has been downloaded over 45 million times. Even if its 1/4th of that, AMC may think it has enough fan base to bring a character to life. It seems Barker is a pretty popular character among the gamers.

    Now, to me, this person appears to be female. Mostly based on the legs. But still could easily be a remix. Traci Barker.

    I seriously did a double take and a couple of rewinds when that scene came up. I think I heard a broken record scratch in my head. LOL

    That weapon is a pair of kamas. I bet she is with Maggie because her colour/material/style of clothing is very similar to Maggie's. Note that both appear to be well groomed.

    And, the other 'Who Dis' is the guy going into Oceanside. He has an orange backpack. Looks like he is alone and not with a group. Any theory?

    Ah, now that you mention it...it does look like him. I thought he looked familiar but did not really expect this character to appear so soon. I thought this Virgil character got stuck in the island.
    Hmmm...now this gets interesting. I wonder first, how he got off the island...and secondly, what is he doing in Oceanside...maybe trying to find Michonne?

    I was one of the Connie guessers, but after seeing the clip a second time, knew it wasn’t. This person looks to have a martial arts move. Connie never showed any of that.

    there's also the possibility it's a situation like Michonne in the season 2 finale. It could be someone who hasn't been cast yet, so it's just a stunt person for the moment.

    Yeah, if the person just has a very brief scene like the one shown in the sneak peek, with no dialogue or mask removal, then that's almost certainly the case. They wouldn't bother to cast the role just for a few seconds of masked mystery. We'll have to see if the person is actually introduced properly in 1016.

    I would've guessed Mercer from the Commonwealth, but it's pretty clearly a woman. He's also a very stocky guy. We might be getting a brand new character which would be interesting, particularly if it's someone who has been on their own for a bit. With Jesus and Michonne gone we've lost a couple of strong, badass independent types so someone like that would be a nice addition.
