I'm very excited to see Merle and find out what happened since he cut off his hand. I'm wondering if he might have Sophia...to use her as a bargaining tool with the group? Probably far fetched but I wouldn't put it past him. Also wonder if it's he that find's Daryl at the bottom of the ravine. :Grin:

Well Merle was just a hallucination. He had both hands.

 

I love merle, he is such an asshole, reminds me of my father. Always talking trash and wanting to start fights to motivate.

 

I was SO hoping that it was for real, and not a hallucination! But Michael and Norman were awesome in that scene regardless of it being a manifestation of Daryl's inner feelings and thoughts. But seriously, they need to show some Merle flashbacks, or, better yet, have Merle webisodes so we can find out what the Hell he's doing!

 

I think we're going to see Merle again if not in the second half of this season, in Season 3.

 

I was happy to see him, and it was nice to see him finally have scenes with Daryl, even it it was an illusion. I wish it had been real, but I can see why they'd want to put that off a little bit. At least we know the actor is willing to return to the show, so I suspect he'll turn up alive at some point.
