I was just about to start this thread. Have no clue what that was about.

 

The walkers blood was coming through. It was meant to show us the wall is not impermeable.

 

Deanna hit it too hard. I'm sure Denise can help it get better tho.

 

I don't think it was Spencer's blood. I think it was walker blood. It didn't drip down the wall but through it where the walkers were.

 

It was the walker blood leaking through. I had the Story Sync going and it had one of those "Assess the threat level" questions and it was talking about the wall getting weaker, thus letting the blood through. I'm guessing that's why they showed us the walkers bursting against the barrier in the first episode of the season.

 

Kind of a weird way to show the wall is vulnerable. I mean just because blood is seeping through, I didn't connect the dots that it means the wall is going to come down eventually. Maybe if they showed the joints buckling a little more. Maybe they didn't want to make it obvious but they did zoom in on the blood seepage.

Also, I agree with the rest, it proves there are cracks and soft points that can weaken the whole structure, which is clearly not as resistant as they believe it is

I dont think that was blood on the wall. I think they where stress fractures from the weoght of all the walkers.

 

That's actually what i thought at first. But we're both wrong.

 

After Deanna beated on the front gate the walkers got excited and started pushing harder, crushing those nearest and up against the wall... Those getting crushed, their blood is seeping through the rivet holes where the wall is being held against the supports.

 

Thats the oart of the wall that they reinforced because the semi truck hit the wall and is still against it. It looked to me like the crack/ blood was moving down and also up right at the end. I think its a crack. Hopefully we'll find out before the season ends

Maybe someone can post a screen shot of the wall so the engineers and architects can have another yummy discussion about it,
