    i doubt the zombies could eat his brains....theyd have to tear off the head and start pulling apart from there to get to the brain stem.

    We have seen the bicycle girl so it was a logical thing he woud turn.. But maybe they ate his brains.. The walkers that went for the guy who shot at hershel and glenn got his face eaten too.. They just ate the first thing they got grip on I think.
