It would have to be a prequel since they were all killed at the end of Rejects.

rabscuttle1, only okay?!?! It IS the original slasher flick, everything else is second rate. But I do agree about the sequels though, pure crap.(except for pt 2, because it still had Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasance and the original mask) Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 corpses are outstanding films as well, RZ is definitely one sick dude! Lol

Actually it's not the first slasher flick. That would be Psycho.

Psycho is better than any other slasher film ever made. Psycho started it all. And it's considered a great film unlike all the other slasher films. Norman Bates is the original slasher. One of the greatest horror films of all time!

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, I'm not going to argue over the internet.

I wan't arguing. You have to be angry or trying to persuade the other person that you're right for it to be an argument. I was simply giving my opinion. I wasn't angry or trying to change your mind. If there was an argument it was all on your side.

I know you weren't angry, I'm just tired(had a death in my wife's family this weekend) and dont feel like explaining my opinion is all I meant. No worries.

i dunno. the first Halloween is pretty highly regarded.

but yeah, i'm still holding out hope that the American Werewolf remake doesn't go through. the original still holds up today. no reason for a new one.

I'm so tired of remakes and reboots. Sure some of them hit it out of the park, but most fail.

As far as horrors go, I heard a rumor that they are going to either remake or reboot Pet Semetary and Carrie. Why? I heard a Child's Play remake is coming next year.

Remember that movie Pumpkinhead from the late 80's with Lance Hendricksen? That hasn't been re-done yet. Maximum Overdrive hasn't. Christine hasn't either.

I don't like any of the original Halloween movies. The remakes are some of the few remakes that, in my opinion, are better. I agree with you about An American Werewolf, though.

I heard they make a remake of Stephen King's It. It's supposed to come out 2015. I don't know... I mean, Clowns are always scary. ;) But, there are just not many good remakes out there. It would be cool if this one (if it's really made) was good though. I liked the original one.

Here's a few.
1) Lost boys
2) The Blob(yes I'm aware it's already been remade)
3) Friday the 13th(Freddy and Michael Myers both got modern remakes)
4) Anything Hitchcock (Yes I'm aware that Psycho was remade)
5) Anything starring Vincent Price
6) Christine

The list goes on and on an I'm sure someone in Hollywood is trolling the internet for topics just like this.
