    Anyone see it?

Is it worth the money for the DVD?

Brad Pitt is no Andrew Lincoln, but I love the end of the world stuff.

I'd say it's worth it, especially since you like end of the world stuff. Nothing groundbreaking, but solid and entertaining. Best zombie movie I've seen in a while, and Brad Pitt is always great.

    Moved to the correct forum.

Complete garbage compared to the book, but just an okay apocalyptic flick on it's own. Certainly not a zombie movie and it certainly has it's "wtf??" moments, but not a bad way to waste 90 minutes. I'd recommend the book over the movie...

I'm not sure I'd pay to own it on DVD/Blu Ray, though. You should probably check it out for free first. However, I am curious to see the original last 1/3 of the movie before they did massive reshoots.

I liked it and I don't normally like anything Brad Pitt is in (with the exception of fight club, seven & snatch)

I think it's worth the money to buy it.

Wife rented it today and talked me into watching it with her. I damn near pulled my eyes out it was so bad. Epic piece of shit. If you want to kill yourself with boredom then watch this giant mound of steaming waste dumped from the mind of a f*cking moron. It would be more fun to jerk off with glass than watch this pustule of a film. My advice.... read the book.

Rabs I wish you would be more upfront with your opinions and stop beating about the bush.
So you weren't overly enamoured with the feature presentation ? ;)

I would but I wanted to keep my answer toned down seeing as how this is a public forum.

    So you loved it?

Ot it's a decent flick but nothing compared to the book. If you like to collect or buy films that aren't your favorite for whatever reason then yes. If you are very picky then no.

Kinda a shame that this is the biggest zombie movie ever (box-office anyway).

Overall, the film is pretty decent. It has plenty of exciting action sequences, but does not have much of a story. If you are frequently in the mood for turning off your brain, then go ahead and purchased the DVD.

Overall average movie. It's stupid how there is 7,000,000,000 Usian Bolts running around trying to eat people. They run 2x faster than the normal human.

I was with you all the way, UNTIL this: "read the book."
I get more literary satisfaction from a Dr. Seuss book than that POS "World War Z" ...

The book definitely isn't for everyone. I like reading historical war novels that use firsthand accounts, and found it interesting to read about a ZA written in the same style.

I found the book confusing as hell.
