basically it was to find guns for the Children of the Corn cult group and food for Rick's group

 

Pointless? It was a good episode for Rick and Michonne. Where Rick is and coping and where Michonne woukd be if Rick wasnt around. Tara struggling to honor her promise, and Rosita being a mini bitch.

 

Wouldn't say pointless even tho I am tired of the bottle episodes. But this one did serve a good purpose. It's showing the calm before the storm

Clearly not a pointless episode for anyone who has been paying attention to the story this season. They needed an episode with Richonne on a run. Maybe another group should have gone also. But they did what they set out to do. Haters of Richonne might think it was pointless I guess.

 

Oh please, there are far worse episodes. If you want to disparage something without offering up facts or at the very least, talking points, head on over to the debaters thread.

I agree. This episode wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either.

Rick and Michonne's search for "stuff and things" for Negan is just a smokescreen to find some guns. They have sex a few times and barely escape a walker infested amusement park. Rick and Michonne return home and discover their troubles would've been avoided if Tara had told them about the Oceanside community.

Necessary. Not pointless. Jadis was promised a lot of guns and it was fun to see how they got them, even though she ended up wanting more. Using Richonne to find them was also fun. Love, love , love seeing that couple together. The episode had a lot of light moments that we need before the grim reality of AOW.

Also thought it was good to see what some of the other characters were thinking and doing while the first couple was out and about.

It's the calm before the storm so it moved the story line along logically.

 

Rick pulled a walkers foot off, and then he pulled at it again and all its guts spilled out. It was awesome. What else do you need?

 

I had trouble staying awake during some of the more hum-dee-dum time-filling wtf get it over with the horse shit moments... But I tell you one thing, after playing Unturned for a bit has brought to light just how careless Rick & Co. are.

The garbage pail kids are far better off the way they behave, but Rick & Co. just walk right in and light candles and make all sorts of noise and basically advertise "HEY LOOK HERE I AM!"

You shouldn't act that way in a world where neither the living nor the dead are necessarily your friend.
