So I guess we can expect something big to happen. Daryl has to run into the bandit guy soon, hopefully it's next episode.

I more of eh about Curtis, since Dead Weight was kinda sucky IMO. Wrong time everyone was waiting for the prison battle, but I am excited about Dickerson directing.

Other than Gimple, every writer from the first half has done one in the 2nd half. It will be interesting to see who gets the 2 Gimple doesn't write, it might show us who he likes most to get 3 episodes

406 is still my best episode of the season, and 407 and 408 are both up there too. All because of superb acting by The Governor.

Loved it. As well as their risky decisions this season with two Governor episodes, everyone split up, and an episode with only two characters.

I didn't think as highly of 4x08. A lot of it was spent watching People shoot unseen Targets. there was some Story development in there though. Personally i thought 4x05 and 4x06 were some of the best of the season.

I thought Live Bait, Infected and Internment were stronger but i really liked the Governor episodes. Morrissey aced them.

Well yeah, I don't think 408 was the best of the season like so many others do, but it's not like it was a terrible episode. It was the end of an era for huge characters (Gov, Hershel, Lilly), plus the fall of their safe haven.

And yeah, 405 was good too. :)

    Edit: And Meghan.

All solid as f*ck episodes. Can't wait to see what this guy pulls out of his sleeve next. Dead Weight was also a underrated episode.

Dead Weight is cool. I know many did not like it because most of the main cast wasn't in it but it's always nice for an episode to explore a different group of survivors.

The main cast doesn't need to be in it all the time. It's called The Walking Dead not The Walking Rick and Company

Ernest Dickerson has had directed some good episodes. He might bring us something good in this one too. Wasn't disappointed with his previous work - Too Far Gone.

His directed episodes are usually very fast paced and deadweight was as well. Bring it on!

That's why I think we'll see similarity of his quality work in 'Alone'. 9th directing altogether.
