I was thinking that as well. I don't care if someone doesn't like the pairing, that's fine, but to call it gross just come off as racist IMO.
And look at that, they've already run away.

The pairing isn't gross because of racism. Everyone knows michonne suffers from perpetual smelly yeast infections. She never showers after her workouts.

Richonne is here to stay. Too bad for the spoilers who predicted Michonne would be Lucilled.

 

Why people would've predicated Michoone's death is ridiculous. All Rick's love interest die???? Seriously, why would they kill her now? Although, majority of the group had a lot of good things going for them when they got to ASZ - Gleen and Abe's death was set in stone and evident throughout the entire S6.

 

I was really happy when this happened, too. Those two fit perfectly together (and - in my opinion - this development is more logical than Rick's relationship with Jessie which seemed too forced for me). I also liked Carl's cool reaction when he learnt about it - good way to show how his character has grown.
But I admit - I was with those who feared they would kill Michonne because Rick is "not allowed" to be happy...

 

Does everyone feel the same now about Richonne? I'm curious.
