The show was never about the zombies anyway. The living are the focus and the living being the main as they are is only gong to be more major. If you don't like that that's cool but don't expect it to change.

Wow, they're givin it to ya pretty darn good up in here huh girl? Well ashza I'm going to assume your not a troll, just someone putting a question out there for discussion. So let's discuss, shall we?

First off i had the same problem during season 2. Yes i get they were on a pretty isolated farm but still. Imo, there's supposed to be a feeling of ever present danger from the walkers. But they were walking around the farm with what seemed like no worries. In fact the biggest drama they had was from within the group! In other words this hardly seemed like a world that was overrun with zombies. More like the fresh air fund where they take kids from the city and take them to the country to milk cows and what not.

Then i got to thinking about it a little more and it's already been established that the world is overrun with zombies. (No gov't, CDC, military, radio, television broadcasts, electiricty etc.) So to keep pounding home the same point over and over again with massive herds of zombies showing up all the time would be redundant. Yes it adds to the action factor, but we wouldn't get as much character development and interaction as we do and that would be tragic. The acting on this show is a strong attribute.

So i pretty much think it's a given that we should just assume is happening as we're watching the plight of the protagonists. Yes, EVEN IF IT DIDN'T HAPPEN ON SCREEN! LOL

And as for my friend Mr. Salads ( I gotta be honest. I only quoted you so i could shout you out for the awesome day of the dead reference!! j/k) I agree that the zombies are merely a plot device (one that i prefer) for exploring the human condition. It could be pretty much any calamity either man made or natural, doesn't matter.

And he is right about human being animals. Look no further than katrina. It was right there on tv for us all to see. When law and order are removed and anarchy reigns human beings revert to their true anamalistic natures. The first thing i tell anyone prepping supplies for a disaster is that they should also pack weapons and plenty of ammo.

Yes it's nice to be all prepared and what not but 90% of people aren't and when they and the ones they love are starving believe me they will come and kill you and your family so they can live, end of story.

This is just as much an ever present danger in their world as the zombies are if not more. So if there aren't as many zombies as you would like in a particular episode, don't despair, there's still plenty of stuff there to chew on. (See what i did there? :p)
