Season 3 Of Telltale’s Walking Dead Series Will Arrive Later This Year
Right now Telltale Games’ series of Walking Dead adventure games is on hiatus while a Michonne-centric spinoff runs its course. Once it does, they’ll be launching a third season in the series — and this will happen before the end of 2016. This was confirmed by Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner, during an interview with Mashable.
Within the interview, Bruner confirmed development on a third season and said the goal this time around is to bring in new fans to the series. It’s been a while since the last time a chapter in the mainline series saw release: Season Two was finished up in 2014. Telltale released a message early in 2015 that stated the series wouldn’t be continuing that year, and they kept to their word — it didn’t.
Now production is firing back up. Bruner says he will reveal more details about the continuation during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which is this July.
