New Details On Hitman Beta, Including Trailer
This coming Friday, February 12, Square-Enix will set the beta for the next Hitman game loose. All you need to access it is a confirmed preorder for the game, which will net you a code to let you in.
This beta chapter is a prequel, “set at a top secret recruitment and training facility,” Square says. “The Prologue revolves around how Agent 47 joined the ICA and shows the first time that 47 meets his long-time handler, Diana Burnwood.” Those who have never played a Hitman game before should find this a perfect jumping-on point, as Square fashioned this to be a re-introduction both to the character and the way the game plays.
The Hitman beta is only available for Playstation 4 and PC — sorry, XBox users. The PS4 beta launches at 8 AM PST / 11 AM EST on February 12 and ends February 15 at the same time. The PC beta starts at 2 AM PST / 5 AM EST / 11 AM CET worldwide on February 19, and ends February 22 at the same time.
If you want to see what the whole thing should look like, Square’s put out a trailer for the beta. Check it out below, and don’t miss the Hitman beta on February 12 (after you’ve seen Deadpool).
